The Red Line Foundation has started working with the Dutch national leader for leg and arm prostheses, De Hoogstraat Orthopedietechniek. The organizations agreed to join forces to provide those in need with prosthetic products.
De Hoogstraat Orthopedietechniek's team of specialists has more than thirty years of experience in making leg prostheses. The company offers a complete service package – from the fitting and repairing your prosthesis to extensive gait analysis, gait training and personal coaching. The manufacturer is audited annually by the independent experts SEMH.
Red Line was created in 2019 in Switzerland. The foundation’s main goal is to provide financial assistance for the acquisition of prostheses for amputees or people born with a limb difference.
Various organizations work together to make quality prosthetic products more affordable for amputees. The goal of the collaboration is to provide limbless people with appropriate assistive products that enable them to live more fulfilling lives. To get help, it is necessary to contact Red Line or De Hoogstraat Orthopedietechniek and provide information about the diagnosis and your own needs.
The first patient to receive assistance through the collaboration was Suzanne, a girl born in 2006 with a congenital reduction defect. Suzanne is healthy but limited by her standard prosthesis. She can walk with it, but she can’t play or do sport. The new prosthesis will give her more self-confidence and help her to be more socially engaged with the other kids.

The Red Line team hopes that the collaboration with our Dutch partner will be successful and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
