The Red Line Charitable Foundation has started working with the national leader in the Netherlands for leg and arm prostheses, De Hoogstraat Orthopedietechniek. The organizations agreed to join forces in providing those in need with prosthetic products.
De Hoogstraat Orthopedietechniek team of specialists has more than thirty years of experience in making leg prostheses. The company offers a complete package of services – from fitting and repairing your prosthesis to extensive gait analysis, gait training, and personal coaching. The manufacturer is annually audited by independent experts SEMH.
Red Line was created in 2019 in Switzerland. The foundation’s main goal is providing financial assistance for the acquisition of prostheses for people after amputation or for people who were born with a limb difference.
Organizations unite to make quality prosthetic products more affordable for amputees. The goal of the collaboration is to provide limbless people with appropriate assistive products to live more fulfilling lives. To get help, you need to contact Red Line or De Hoogstraat Orthopedietechniek and provide information about the diagnosis and your own needs.
The first patient to receive assistance through the collaboration was Suzanne, a girl born in 2006. She has a congenital reduction defect. Suzanne is a healthy girl but limited with her standard prostheses. She can only walk with it but can’t play and do sport. The new prosthesis will give her more self-confidence and help to be more socially engaged with the other kids.
The Red Line team hopes that cooperation with the Dutch partner will be successful and will improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
